The 4-week series is held on Tuesday evenings in a positive, supportive environment. Free parking available. Certificates of attendance to be presented at the end of the series.
Quote:
“When friends and family members get together, understand and address the impact they experience in the situation, they increase their ability to gather a much-needed social support system,” says Faith Sheehan, Crossroads for Women’s outpatient clinical supervisor. “That not only helps the person using substances, but also the whole system of friends and family that remain in the background unsure of how to cope.”
HOW:
The sessions cost $25 per friend or family group per session or $85 for all 4 sessions paid in advance. Up to 3 people from the same family are considered a family group. There is a $10 charge for each additional family member. For more information or to register, call 207-773-9931 or email.
