Hi God. It’s me.

I wanted to take a few minutes right in the middle of my day to thank you. Thank you so, so much for the way my life is taking shape over the last few months. Thank you for the changes in my work. Thank you for my new friends and mentors. Thank you for the work you are doing in my husband’s life and for the people you have put around him for support and encouragement.

Thank you for friends. Thank you for community. Thank you for the sweet, warm people you’ve put in my life to buoy me in the hard times and to celebrate with me when things are good.

Thank you for the ways you are revealing yourself to me. Thank you for making me feel so close to you. Thank you for answering my prayers, for listening, for keeping me close to your heart no matter how much I struggle. Thank you for being the kind of parent who always loves, nurtures, and forgives, even when I am willfully rebellious.

Thank you for trusting me with opportunities to serve you. Please sharpen my vision - remove the scales from my eyes so that I can see places where I can serve you more. Don’t let me miss an opportunity to do good work in your name.

Open my heart more and more. If there is something I am holding back from you, reveal it to me so that I can give it to you.
