Greetings!
We will be keeping the chat room nice and warm this Sunday, with another session of holiday preparedness featuring this weeks hostess, A. Miles. The chosen topic for the “meeting” is “How to avoid getting overwhelmed by the holidays.”
The chat starts at 8pm EST and you have to bring your own hot chocolate!
Next Sunday, same time, same place, blogger Margaux will be your hostess. The topic will be “Being away from a loved one because they were/are living in addiction.” She has a great post up now on her blog site, Love in the Time of Addiction, about working through the challenges and emotions that the holidays present.
Margaux has been a contributing writer at TSR, for a year now, you can read her archives here.
We will have chats lined up each Sunday at this time, for community support, but don’t forget, you can access the chat room 24/7. Invite a friend to meet you there, there’s no waiting in line or putting on your coat to face the cold!!!
Also, please don’t forget to check out iGive for your last minute shopping! Last week we invited you to make The Second Road your cause. Sign-up is really easy! All you need to do is visit iGive and then select The Second Road as your cause and next, create an account.
iGive is a free service that helps charities and nonprofits raise money every time you search or shop. There are more than 700 stores–from pet meds to plane tickets to Barnes & Noble. Avoid the mall crowds, pick up a gift for a loved one or Yourself, and help our nonprofit–all in a few clicks!
Many wishes of peace, health, and prosperity to you during the holidays!

I know, I know A. Miles, I really have missed writing my “good morning” and “Good Night” remarks in ‘chat’…just doing my best–obviously not the VERY best–to get around to everything, and keep my violin back in shape, and all what else there is to deal with around here.
Tonight (Sunday) I will be playing another gig, and if I can get home at all for the chat, I will be very late, like 8:30-8:45 PM, and I hate to bust in on Peeps who have been “together” for nearly an hour. (Now WHEN did I ever hate doing that? Hmmmm. So I’ve LIED AGAIN?)
Gotta git goin’: “Git’m up Scout!! (Clippety Clop, clippety clop.)
Miss you too, Lady!
