Fruit, fruit, and more fruit!

As part of my 40 days of yoga revolution, I am in the midst of a 3-day fruit fast. It’s actually not a fast, more like a cleanse. Three days of nothing but fruit, which began yesterday and ends tomorrow. It’s going pretty well so far. In order to avoid a headache at work yesterday, I did have one cup of coffee. I didn’t work today, and I’ve made it all the way through without caffeine. Other than that one coffee, I’ve had nothing but fresh fruit for almost 48 hours. It’s been very interesting.
Fortunately, the coordinators of our 40-day program made it easier by allowing us to purchase fruit from the facility, all we can eat for a flat fee. It’s a damn good deal. I was able to load up on beautiful, cut-up fruit this morning, and it’s lasted throughout the day.
I was quite anxious about doing this, and I wasn’t the only one. The entire class has been on pins and needles in anticipation of these three days. We all had many worries. Unfounded worries so far. I’m not hungry, and I was sure I would be. I didn’t spend my day running to the bathroom, which was a concern of just about everyone. My stomach doesn’t hurt. I’m not too cranky, too happy, too sleepy, or too energetic. So far, so good.

I might be able to do this if it were fruits and vegetables.
I have to admit, I am fascinated by this 40 day program. I think it is the kind of thing I could commit to once, but I’d probably just slack off entirely after it was done. I’m really interested in hearing how it works for you, though, because I’m tempted to try something like it.
Well I commend your effort - this is the kind of change in my diet that I would shy away from - but you make it sound like a piece of cake! ( ugh watermelon I meant!)
