Resolution.

I’m trying to settle on a great resolution for the New Year, and I’m not sure where to begin. I feel like I’m in a much better place than I was last year, so part of what I want to do is to keep doing what I’m doing. Last year, I think my resolutions involved drinking more water and doing lots of yoga. I’ve stuck to them pretty well, and both have helped me.
I think I want next year to be about the 11th and 12th steps. I want to put my spirituality first in my life and to continue to excavate its power to help me make the right choices. I also want to be of service to others.
My husband and I have never spent a New Year’s Eve together, so I’m excited about tonight. Looking back, I realize he’s been high every time and nodded off. Last year, I went out and had a good time by myself, and I’m glad I did…but I’m also glad for having plans to spend time with him. We’re going to our local Alkathon, which should be a lot of fun. Tomorrow, we’re going to share a big meal and spend the day doing not too much of anything. It’s a good place to be for starting off the New Year, and so much better than last year.
I’m grateful for it. Thanks to you all for keeping reading, and I’ll see you next year!
